A bit of history

Hi, I am Paul West, founder and Director.

SKIPTA means Change in Old Norse - it felt like the word that best described my desire as the founder, to be of help to this world and help it change. Plus, it played to my inner belief of a Viking heritage - it would account for my size anyway.

While I have done (and still do) a variety of roles and jobs, the fundamental desire I have is to work with people, to work on complex and interesting problems and to move organisations and people to a place of success. Be it, a new strategy, culture, ways of working or capability. But always through a People Perspective.  

I wanted an organisation that could help many people and many organisations. So, SKIPTA Consulting was founded in 2016 and it includes a global network of associates, gurus and partners.
